Who we are

DukaanPro is a Windows point-of-sale program for shops, made and sold by its developer (“we”). Contact: softhub746@gmail.com.

Your shop data stays on your computer

Your products, customers, sales, suppliers, expenses and the other records you enter are stored on your own computer in an encrypted database. We do not receive a copy, we have no access to it, and the program has no advertising or usage tracking.

Google Drive backup (optional)

You can connect your own Google account so DukaanPro backs itself up automatically.

• What we ask Google for: one permission only, drive.appdata. It lets the program keep its own files in a hidden application folder in your Drive. DukaanPro cannot see, list or change any of your other files, and we cannot see your Google password.
• What is stored there: backup files of your shop data. Each file is encrypted on your computer with a backup password that only you know before it is uploaded. Google and we only ever see scrambled data.
• Where it goes: straight from your computer to your own Google Drive. It does not pass through any server of ours.
• What stays on your computer: the sign-in token that lets the program back up automatically, protected by Windows.
• Your control: you can disconnect in the program at any time, delete the backup folder from your Drive settings, or remove DukaanPro from your Google account permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

DukaanPro’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The information is used only to provide the backup and restore feature you asked for, is not shared with anyone, is not used for advertising, and is not read by people.

Licence checks

To keep your licence valid the program occasionally fetches a small licence file from our licence server. This request contains no shop data. Like any web request it reveals your internet address to our server, which we keep in an activity log for security.

What we hold about shops that buy a licence

To sell and renew licences we keep: the shop name, owner name, phone number, city, the computer ID shown on the activation screen, notes we write ourselves, and a record of payments you made to us and the licences we issued. We use this only to run your licence and support you. We do not sell or share it.

Your choices

• Ask us to correct or delete the shop details we hold, by emailing softhub746@gmail.com. We will delete them unless we must keep payment records.
• Your shop data on your own computer and in your own Drive is yours to keep, export or delete.

Security

Data on your computer is encrypted. Backups are encrypted before upload. If you forget your backup password we cannot recover your backups.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
